I went to see “Hulk” at Village St Lukes. About an hour into the film, just after Bruce had been hit with the gamma radiation, the mall’s fire alarm went off. Now, it was obvious to me that it was a fire alarm and that the appropriate reaction was to leave the theatre. I got up and walked out, but no one else did.
Everyone was just sitting there, watching the film, probably wishing that the horrible siren would stop so that they could hear what was being said. On my way out I passed an usher rushing in, assuming to tell everyone to leave. I couldn’t be bothered hanging around waiting for the mall to be given the all clear, so I left. I suppose tomorrow I’ll go back and be like “Ow, giz us a free ticket, ow.”
